DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF A ONE HEALTH INTERVENTION FOR THE PREVENTION OF LYME DISEASE IN THE CITY OF BROMONT

2019-2021

This research project is carried out as part of a collaboration with the City of Bromont. The objective of the project is to develop and evaluate an intervention aimed at preventing the transmission of Lyme disease to humans.

The intervention has two components, a first which aims to raise awareness and engage citizens in prevention activities, and a second which aims to reduce the number of ticks in the environment using an oral acaricide treatment administered to wild rodents through bait boxes.
