COVID-19, PETS AND THE IMPACT ON THE HEALTH OF CANADIAN POPULATION AND ANIMAL HEALTH WORKERS
2020-2021
Recent studies confirm that some pets can become infected with SARS-CoV-2 and transmit it to other animals nearby, and sometimes to humans.
This new knowledge is likely to generate significant stress for animal health workers and the general population, although companion animals are also a source of physical and mental well-being in today's environment.
This study aims to better understand the impacts of COVID-19 on animal health workers and pet owners.
